About Me

Hello, I'm Madeleine! I'm a Chicago-based costume designer and BFA costume design grad from The Theatre School at DePaul.

My approach to costuming comes from a deep love of the evolution of fashion through time - I am constantly inspired by the cultural moments, artistic innovations, and material conditions that have shaped the way we choose to clothe ourselves, from casual dress to couture. 

I am most satisfied when I am able to synthesize disparate, strange ideas to create a cohesive world and strong design standpoint. My ideal design fully expresses the themes of a work while allowing my artistic voice to shine, creating something truly unique in the process.
