Presented in the style of a medieval mystery play, Credentis's dreamlike tableaus and constant musical underscore support poetic dialogue that probes the issue of faith in the face of the unknown. The characters and props replicate the "major arcana" of the tarot deck, with the High Priestess remaining onstage the entire duration of the play.
